A representative for the Los Angeles County Coroner tells ET that the release of the results of Michael Jackson’s autopsy will be delayed indefinitely.
The rep says that more investigating needs to be done before the results will be released. The decision to indefinitely delay release of the results was made after a roundtable discussion was held Thursday between the Los Angeles County Department of Coroner, the Los Angeles Police Department and the District Attorneys office. The meeting discussed the status of the investigation into Jackson’s death, and the rep for the coroner’s office tells ET that the District Attorney’s office will likely play a large role going forward in the investigation.
When asked if other doctors besides Dr. Conrad Murray could be investigated, the coroner’s rep said that the investigation is ongoing.
J. Randy Taraborrelli, author of Michael Jackson: The Magic, The Madness, The Whole Story, tells ET that he thinks Katherine Jackson will rely on one of her daughters to help raise the King of Pop’s three kids.
Taraborrelli says he believes Michael’s sister, Rebbie Jackson, will lend a hand. "Rebbie would sort of be the primary caregiver to Michael’s children even though Katherine would have custody of the children," he tells ET.
Michael’s mother and his ex-wife Debbie Rowe negotiated an out-of-court agreement for custody of the late singer’s children on Thursday.
ET earlier reported that the Los Angeles Coroners Office is working to reveal Michael Jackson’s toxicology results sometime next week, possibly on Wednesday. Now ET special correspondent Diane Dimond has the latest!
"Two different police sources tell me that the toxicology report is complete enough that they now know what killed Michael Jackson," Dimond says. "That knowledge is guiding the investigators as they try put a case together."
Dimond goes on to say that, according to her sources, Dr. Conrad Murray is the primary target of the investigation and criminal charges are likely to be filed.
ET has obtained the booking photo of Michael Jackson’s personal physician, Dr. Conrad Murray, when he was arrested in February 1994.
Dr. Murray was arrested on domestic violence charges on February 3, 1994 after an incident with his then-girlfriend. The doctor was tried and acquitted.
On Tuesday, Dr. Murray — the subject of an investigation –was present during the search of his home and assisted the officers, his attorney told ET.
ET has the latest…
Lawyers for Katherine Jackson and Debbie Rowe are speaking out about the custody agreement they have settled on regarding the late Michael Jackson’s children.
The joint statement says the agreement will be presented Monday, August 3, 2009, to the Los Angeles Superior Court for approval, which is expected.
The statement reads:
Sources tell ET when they expect the toxicology results will be in for Michael Jackson.
According to a spokesperson for the Los Angeles Coroners office, they are working to reveal the results next week but no day has been decided upon yet.
However, another source affiliated with the medical examination tells ET that the coroners office expects to announce their findings on Wednesday.
The personal chef to Michael Jackson, Kai Chase, describes her encounters with the King of Pop, his three children and Dr. Conrad Murray.
Chase tells Meredith Vieira on the "Today Show" that prior to Jackson’s London shows the singer told her, "I need you to take care of me." Jackson told the chef off-offhandedly that his rehearsals were "killing him" but says he was excited about the tour. The chef tells Vieira it was important to the music icon that him and his family were eating fresh, healthy foods.
As for Dr. Murray, Kai says he would usually come downstairs to retrieve Jackson’s breakfast and would sometimes join them for dinner. She told the "Today Show" that sometimes the doctor would inquire about the singer’s diet and was adamant about him eating.
In a new interview, Joe Jackson appears to confirm that Michael Jackson is the father of a fourth child, Omer Bhatti.
Asked about Omer, Joe says he knew him as Michael’s other son. "I knew he had another son," Joe tells NewsOne in a TVOne exclusive. "He looks like a Jackson, he acts like a Jackson, he can dance like a Jackson."

Michael Jackson’s mother Katherine and ex-wife Debbie Rowe have negotiated an out-of-court agreement for custody of the late singer’s children, a source tells ET.
The agreement is said to give Katherine full custody of all three children; Prince Michael I, 12, Paris-Michael Katherine, 11, and Prince Michael II, 7, also known as "Blanket." Debbie will be given "meaningful visitation" and retain her legal parental rights. Debbie is mother to the two oldest children, while the mother of "Blanket" has never been made public.
All three children have been living with their grandmother at the Jackson family home in Encino, Calif., since Michael’s death last month.
Kevin Frazier’s exclusive interview with Tito Jackson continues: In part two, the older brother of Michael Jackson recalls the day Michael died — and how he received the tragic news.
On that tragic day, June 25, Tito says he was at home in Calabasas, CA when he got word from his son, who had been watching the news, that Michael had been taken to the hospital, and asked if it was true. Tito then called his mother and cousin, who confirmed the news and told him, "You should prepare yourself to come over."
"On my way there I decided to call my sister Janet to see if she had heard anything further," says Tito. "She said ‘pull over,’ and right when she said that I knew he was gone. She said, ‘Tito, he passed away.’ I just sat in my car and I just was messed up for quite a while."
