Many podcasts are about an hour in length, especially when they consist of recordings of radio shows or teleclasses. However, I think that the listening threshold for most people is about 10 minutes. So, that means that your podcast needs to be 10 minutes or less in length. If it”s longer, you really have to grab their attention in the first 10 minutes to keep them listening for the full amount of time.

Watch Now: Adam Lambert Q & A

Adam Lambert answers questions from the crowd on the "Early Show."

Speaking about everything from his sense of style to his controversial American Music Awards performance, the former "American Idol" contestant says he had "no clue" that his song and dance number would cause such an uproar.

"Unfortunately some people were upset, but some people really enjoyed it," he added.

Adam Lambert: ABC Did What They Needed To Do

ET has the latest…

ET spoke with Adam Lambert this morning just after his "Early Show" appearance where he told us he understood why "Good Morning America" canceled his performance.

"ABC did what they needed to do," he told ET. "I respect their decision. They probably have a lot of politics going on behind the scenes that I don’t know about. I just want to do a concert and sing. I’m glad that we got to give a show to the fans who came out. A lot of them traveled to New York so I’m glad that they got a show. That’s what matters."

Meanwhile, "Early Show" reporter Maggie Rodriguez said she found Lambert to be very mature and didn’t understand why he wouldn’t be invited to explain his side of the story.

Adam Lambert Talks Kiss Controversy on ‘Early Show’

Clad in black from head-to-toe with shiny boots, a high collar jacket, fingerless gloves and his hair swept up, Adam Lambert rocked the "Early Show" on CBS — after ABC canceled his "Good Morning America" appearance because of his racy American Music Awards performance.

Touching on the controversy, Adam said he didn’t mean to offend and yet also finds the backlash a double-standard. "If it had been a female pop performer, there wouldn’t be nearly as much of an outrage," he noted. "I had no idea the performance would ignite this firestorm."

However, he added that he could understand why some were upset. "I admit I did get carried away," he said. "I see how people got offended … In the future, I will make an effort to stay consistent during rehearsal."

Comparison of Diesel and Gasoline Engines

1144

In the transportation industry there are two major types of engines. These are the diesel engine and the gasoline engine. The diesel engine can be found more commonly in the larger vehicles such as buses and trucks but the gasoline engine has remained the most popular engine in cars. There reason for this may not be clearly apparent at a first glance as it seems that the only difference in the engines is the fuel type. This is however a large misconception as the inner workings of the engines also differs.

The singer/songwriter revealed to the New York Times that in his head, he believes women get him in trouble. "I cant even explain to you how terrible that feels, that I equate dating a woman with punishment, shame, guilt, disappointment, reproach, reprimand, persecution. AMAs Backstage: Rihanna on her ‘R-Rated’ Outfit; Jennifer Lopez on her ‘Planned’ Fall

The "2009 American Music Awards" was jam-packed with performances from a large spectrum of genres. Janet Jackson kicked off Sunday night’s festivities in Los Angeles. Entertainers such as Adam Lambert, Jennifer Lopez, Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Shakira, and Whitney Houston followed with elaborate production numbers. ET’s Kevin Frazier spoke to some of the artists after their show-stopping routines.

J-Lo got ready to rumble with a boxing theme for her single "Louboutins." She said, "It’s kind of metaphoric, coming back into the ring."

She also jokes that she "planned" the fall she took during her choreographed dance: "You know how sometimes a champ, like late in the ring, you fall down, you get right back up. That’s the mark of a champion right there."

Susan Boyle: I’ve Become a Lady

Internet sensation Susan Boyle is celebrating the release of her new album and talks to "Today" show host Matt Lauer about her famed journey and the song she recorded for those who have bullied her in the past.

Boyle took the world by storm when she first appeared on the U.K. show "Britain’s Got Talent" where she sang a moving rendition of Les Misrables’ "I Dreamed a Dream." She compares her life now to her first televised performance, saying, "I’ve grown up a bit. I’ve become sort of a lady."

Arcades nowadays are not as popular as it was during my time

Friday, November 27th, 2009

Arcades nowadays are not as popular as it was during my time. Most kids these days are investing in video games system of their own. Systems like Game Cube, Playstation 2, and Xbox are very popular. Why would kids go to local arcades and to spend their money on video games, when they can simply receive a system of their own during their birthday or at Christmas? Modern personal video games are not very expensive and most kids can own portable versions like the Gameboy Advance Sp. The advancement in gaming makes personal video games more fun and exciting.
