Most CD RW drives are not able to burn CD+G discs due to missing internal firmware. This firmware recognizes files that contain the graphic extensions of the Red Book. Some of the older CD RW drives that were able to write CD+G files are not compatible with the newer software so you might need to upgrade your drive.

ET is behind-the-scenes with Ashley Tisdale as she shoots her new music video that deals with a girl’s revenge after her boyfriend is caught cheating.
The video showcases the single "It’s Alright, It’s Ok," which Ashley says is "a big powerful anthem song." It tells the story of a girl who is cheated on and then plots a way get revenge on her boyfriend.
Ashley admits that the video came from personal experience and that she too has been cheated on – but she adds it took place a long time ago. Despite the serious nature of the video, the actress/singer says she took a lighter approach. "It’s fun. It’s something that I wish I could have done when I was in that position."
Nick Jonas has announced a contest through which kids and teens with diabetes can win the chance to meet him!
The youngest member of the Jonas Brothers trio has teamed up with Bayer Diabetes Care to launch the "Express Your Simple Win Creativity Contest," an online video contest where kids and teens ages 6-18 can submit short videos about their "Simple Wins"– small everyday victories for managing diabetes. The personal video submission can be a visual demonstration of original song lyrics, photography, painting/drawing, acting or another form of creativity.
"With this contest, I hope people are inspired by others’ entries, as well as encouraged to submit and share their own, but most of all, I hope that everyone has fun with it," says Nick, who has type 1 diabetes. "Diabetes can be hard to live with, but when you manage it well, you can still do the things you love most in the world."
Here comes the star: The late George Harrison’s Beatles bandmate Paul McCartney, his widow Olivia and major celebs such as Tom Hanks celebrated the unveiling of Harrison’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Tuesday.
Joining McCartney and Hanks at the ceremony were Harrison’s Traveling Wilburys cohorts Tom Petty and Jeff Lynne, and Monty Python funnyman Eric Idle. The legendary guitarist’s son Dhani was also there.
Harrison penned Beatles classics such as "Here Comes the Sun" and "Something," as well as the solo hits "My Sweet Lord," "What is Life" and "Cheer Down." He passed away of lung cancer in 2001 at the age of 58.
A jury has reportedly reached a verdict in the case against music producer Phil Spector, who was on trial for the shooting death of actress Lana Clarkson.
Spector, 69, was found guilty of second degree murder by a Los Angeles Superior Court jury. The jury returned the verdict Monday afternoon after deliberating for about 30 hours, the Associated Press reports.
Investigators found that Clarkson, 40, died of a gunshot fired in her mouth while visiting Spector’s mansion in 2003. The defense had argued that she killed herself.
Billie Bob Thornton’s band, The Boxmasters, has been forced to temporarily drop off their Canadian tour with Willie Nelson, ET confirms.
Billy Bob’s rep tells ET that one of the band members and several of the crew has come down with the flu.
The group is taking a few days off to recuperate and will jump back on the tour on Tuesday.
John Mayer and ‘Camp Rock’ star Demi Lovato have been tweeting at each other!
Mayer wrote on his Twitter page Thursday: "I have ‘La La Land’ by @ddlovato stuck in my head. Actually, it’s not stuck. I’m choosing to sing it. B section is sophisticated." He added to her: "You’re going to make lots of records, I can tell."

Britney Spears tells fans she’s sorry for walking off the stage during a concert last night in Vancouver.
A statement posted on the pop star’s Web site explains why she had to delay the concert shortly after it began. "We want to apologize to all the fans who attended our Vancouver show tonight for the brief pause in Britney’s set. Crew members above the stage became ill due to a ventilation issue."
Britney, currently in the middle of her latest "Circus" world tour, appeared on the circus-themed stage in front of excited fans at Vancouver’s GM Place around 8:17 p.m., according to the Vancouver Sun. But after performing a couple of songs she suddenly vanished, "leaving a chanting, swaying crowd calling for her return." She reappeared about 30 minutes later and finished the concert.

Madonna has made a "generous" donation to aid residents of the region of Italy where her grandparents once lived.
The music icon’s rep tells ET that Madonna woke up yesterday and heard that the mayor of her grandparents’ former hometown — a small Italian village called Pacentro — had challenged her to help the victims of the 6.3 temblor. The rep couldn’t confirm the amount donated but says that Madonna "responded generously" to the request for help.
The Associated Press reports that more than 200 people have been confirmed dead in the devastating quake, which struck at 3:32 A.M. Monday.
