In fact I was the geeky kid at school that looked forward to trips to the factory because it meant I got to see how things were made and what really made them work.

So you”ve eaten well each day - that”s a great start to weight loss

March 10th, 2010

So you”ve eaten well each day - that”s a great start to weight loss. However, you need to do more in order to shift those excess kilograms, to do this you are going to have to “burn off” the extra energy [this means fat]. Exercise in not your only weapon here - incidental exercise & normal household chores can also play a part.

I”m not saying you should do away with your pay TV provider

March 9th, 2010

I”m not saying you should do away with your pay TV provider. I have satellite TV in my home, we use and enjoy it. Too many people think it”s an either or decision when it comes to pay TV or a TV antenna. The truth is, a TV antenna system compliments pay TV and vice versa. Its not your pay TV providers fault they can”t offer you all the local channels that a TV antenna can. In many cases Federal law prohibits pay TV providers from broadcasting many of these channels.

Jimi Hendrix - Valleys of Neptune

The latest posthumous Hendrix album offers underwhelming new material.

New Young Pony Club - The Optimist

A super-smart pop album at the top of its game.

March 9th, 2010

A player who learns how to play the piano by ear will not necessarily be able to judge if a key is sharp or flat, and thats where having some basic knowledge of the notes comes in handy. If you need to stay in key F-major, for example, then you will know how to keep that note flat during the entire scale. While flat keys and sharp keys follow similar patterns, learning how to play the piano is not based on this alone. For teenagers or adults who are inspired and self-motivated enough to pursue their goals, learning how to play the piano can be done within a short amount of time.

When you put the parts in rhyme then you can hand out the parts a couple of weeks before the program and the students will have them memorized and ready for rehearsal in a week. Most students will have it memorized the first night. This way you do not have to go over and over each scene.

March 8th, 2010

The aim of any maintenance personnel is to lengthen the lifespan of equipment under his care. Selection of chemical resistant materials is not a one-cure-fits-all solution. Some materials are not affected by certain chemicals but can be damaged by others. Some have good mechanical strength while others cannot last long without reinforcement. Usually, materials that can withstand many types of chemicals are very expensive.

1.) Get Out Of Major Market The Top 40 Station Mentality—There was a day when getting played on a big city Top 40 radio station was like winning a gold medal at the Olympics. Bands that were chosen for play were handpicked by the voices of the airwaves whose ears were finely tuned to pick out the next new rising star. Today, things are a little different. Radio has become a huge corporation with three major conglomerates owning most of the stations in the United States. Sadly, Disc jockeys are no longer the innovators their predecessors were. Station management hands down a playlist (made exclusively of artists signed to mostly major labels) and the voices you hear on your radio are just thattalking heads animating a script. Its nearly impossible for an unknown band to break into mainstream large metropolis radio and a waste of your time and money to send packages blindly to a medium that will more than likely reject you again and again.

Boyzone - Brother

A treat for fans, but younger ears might wonder what the fuss was ever about.

Emma Pollock - The Law of Large Numbers

Long-term fans of Pollock, and The Delgados, will find their expectations met.

Titus Andronicus - The Monitor

Lives up both to its rebellious, riotous ambition and its rich musical heritage.

March 6th, 2010

There are many Zune and IPod similarities and I will list major ones. They each have the same starting price of around $249, disk storage, picture capacity, screen resolution, and aspect ratio. They play audio, pictures, and video. They have USB connection (to another device, typically a computer), battery, and similar battery life.

Boyzone - Brother

A treat for fans, but younger ears might wonder what the fuss was ever about.

Emma Pollock - The Law of Large Numbers

Long-term fans of Pollock, and The Delgados, will find their expectations met.

Black Rebel Motorcycle Club - Beat the Devils Tattoo

Emerges from the swampland armed with an acoustic, and desire in its belly.

The Chieftains featuring Ry Cooder - San Patricio

A transatlantic musical campaign whose eccentric heart makes it hard to resist.

Kris Drever - Mark the Hard Earth

Quite understated and beautifully played, Drevers singing peerless throughout.

Various Artists - Next Stop Soweto: Township Sounds From the Golden Age of Mbaqanga

Tough, rootsy grooves and plentiful hooks give this mbaqanga music broad appeal.

Turin Brakes - Outbursts

A stripped-back affair, but overly familiar and sadly nondescript.
